Jesus went to places not frequented by the religious elite
Amplified Bible (AMP)
4 - It was necessary for Him to go through Samaria.
5 - And in doing so, He arrived at a Samaritan town called Sychar, near the tract of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 - And Jacob's well was there. So Jesus, tired as He was from His journey, sat down [to rest] by the well. It was then about the sixth hour (about noon).
7 - Presently, when a woman of Samaria came along to draw water, Jesus said to her, Give Me a drink--
We learned a long time ago that God knows no boundaries and there's no place he won't go to find one lost sheep. You think a bar would offend Him? You're talking about the Great God Jehovah - the beginning and the end. A little old smokey bar won't detour Him. Bikers used to think they could hide from God in an outlaw biker culture and that didn't work either.
The video below, is of a birthday party in an outlaw biker club - same stuff goes on there as in a bar. Zig Zag has been a Scorpion MC member since the early '70's. The son of a Baptist preacher, Zig Zag rebelled - went to prison and that's where God knocked on his hearts door.
Zig Zag was conflicted about turning his back on his club brothers when he got out. He still loved them but didn't want to lose his close walk with God. When he got out of prison, he explained his situation to his club brothers. They made him Chaplain of the club; Now, he and his wife pastor a biker church and 14 recovery homes. Zig Zag and other Motorcycle Ministries, including Forgiven Motorcycle Ministries, do a lot of ministry in this outlaw motorcycle clubhouse.
